This is the incredible @xueli_a who kindly travelled to London this week for a photo series. A few months ago I received a beautiful email from Xueli’s Mother in The Netherlands. Xueli has #Albinism a condition I was aware of but one I had never photographed before and what an experience… Xueli is originally from China where obviously people have black hair, dark eyes and olive skin. This nearly 14 year old was just fun to collaborate with, her English was that of an adults and with extremely limited vision and her eyes suffering from bright light, the series was technically a challenge from my usual practice. I can honestly say this series was a game changer for me in many ways but the way the light worked with Xueli’s hair and skin was amazing. More from this lady’s series who had the finest hair I’ve ever seen.
