Zebraliśmy najlepsze zdjęcia z konkursu The Insight Astronomy Photographer of the Year organizowanego przez Royal Observatory Greenwich. Fotografowie z całego świata prezentują swoje najlepsze zdjęcia, a w tym roku zgłoszono 4 602 prace z 90 krajów na całym świecie. Te zdjęcia sprawią, że zakochasz się w astrofotografii!

Got some good news that this shot made the shortlist for the highly esteemed RGM Insight Astronomy photographer of the year. I’ve been shortlisted for the past 2 years so hoping this one will take it a step further into the prize category which will be revealed later this summer. It was also just announced that this one took home 2nd place in the 2019 Photo NightScapes Awards nightscape category. Been a hell of a run thus far with this series…and all the while I’ve been waiting for the next twilight launch which has yet to happen. Would love to catch a local one from LA next. This shot consists of 2 exposures; one for the foreground and one for the sky with no movement of the camera between the two shots. #supreme_nightshots #special_shots #nightphotography #night_shooterz #spacex #agameoftones #universetoday #amazing_longexpo #longexpoelite #natgeospace #rocketlaunch #heatercentral #eclectic_shotz #usinterior #earthofficial #awesome_photographers #fantastic_universe #artofvisuals #lost_world_treasures #falcon9 #usaprimeshot #ig_unitedstates #depthsofearth #allbeauty_addiction #bwp076 #cwp076 #igkillers002 #astrophoto2019

International Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2019 – my shortlisted image! ________________________________ This 60hr+ image of the Helix Nebula taken from Melbourne, Australia. Please like & share! ____________________________________ NGC 7293 owns its name to the fact that it looks like looking down the axis of a helix. In reality, it has a surprisingly complex geometry, including radial filaments and extended outer loops. The Helix nebula is one of the brightest and closest examples of a planetary nebula, a gas cloud created at the end of the life of a sun-like star. ____________________________________ www.andysastro.com See the shortlist here… https://tinyurl.com/y4eon4qa. ____________________________________ #astrophoto2019 #skyatnight #astrophotography #astrophoto #narrowband #space #milkyway #qsimaging #nebulosity #universetoday #nasa_apod #astronomypicturesdaily #the_asv #astronomy #deepsky #skyatnight #deepspace #universe #astrofotografia #eizo_apac #skywatcheraustralia #skywatchertelescope #eq6 #natgeospace #fantasticuniverse #spacedotcom#amateurastrophotographyezine #nights_dreamworld #gsotelescope #aipp_official

Review 2018 2. Namibia So far the most impressive trip of my life. This endless wideness, the amazing sun ups and downs and finally this breathtaking wooow mindblowing starry sky. It was like a dream! You really have to visit Namibia <3. Here my favorite image taken on the trip… of course Deadvlei during the night: What planet is this? It is the only planet currently known to have trees. The trees in Deadvlei, though, have been dead for over 500 years. Located in Namib-Naukluft Park in Namibia (Earth), saplings grew after rainfall caused a local river to overflow, but died after sand dunes shifted to section off the river. High above and far in the distance, the band of our Milky Way Galaxy forms an arch over a large stalk in this well-timed composite image, taken last month. The soil of white clay appears to glow by reflected starlight. Rising on the left, under the Milky Way's arch, is a band of zodiacal light — sunlight reflected by dust orbiting in the inner Solar System. On the right, just above one of Earth's larger sand dunes, an astute eye can find the Large Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy of our galaxy. Finding the Small Magellanic Cloud in the featured image, though, is perhaps too hard. I can finally reveal that I’ve been shortlisted in the Insight Astrophotographer of the Year 2019 Competition with this image of the Horsehead Nebula in Orion. I only got into astrophotography a year ago so to have been shortlisted out of nearly 5,000 entries worldwide as one of the best newcomers is really humbling. Exhibition of all shortlisted entries will be at the Royal Greenwich Observatory from October. If you’re interested in my slightly unusual hobby (although not as unusual as Boris’ of painting buses full of happy people on empty wine crates 🧐) and you’d like to follow me then I post my stuff on a separate IG account @rob.astro #horseheadnebula #astrophoto2019 #royalmuseumsgreenwich

'Ben, Floyd & the Core' — Very proud and a little blown away to say this was the winner of Astro Photographer of the year 2019 People & Space Category. Had an amazing time at the awards and loved seeing the exhibition and meeting all the talented photographers there. Me and @rosielark loved it, and the free booze & canapés! If you find yourself in London I can really recommend this amazing exhibition. The book is stunning too. Special mention to @joes_astrophoto , great to meet you and keep up the amazing work. Check his stunning deep space work out if you can #uk_nightphotography #nightphotography #ukastronomy #uk_greatshots #glorious_britain #night_shots #nightshooters #nightscape #nightscaper #british #cumbrian #ukhubs #worldshotz #worldprime #milkywaychasers #milkyway #milkywaygalaxy #milkyway_nightscapes #starscape #night_exposures #longexposure_shots #longexposure #longexpoelite
